I recently saw some butterfly wall art at Pottery Barn and knew I could make it for my own little ones room. I have been planning for a few weeks to repaint one wall with magnetic primer and paint a tree. I had originally planned on only magnetic fabric leaves, but knew as soon as I saw the butterflies that I needed more. So I haven't yet tackled the leaves, I have made some other fabric magnets and thought I would share the tutorial. It is super quick and so much fun. The best part is you can use up all your scraps!
Supplies:
1 roll of magnetic tape (Hobby Lobby or Michaels)
Scraps of fabric
Fusible Peltex or Non-fusible Peltex and Heat N Bond (depending on what you have around)
Directions:
1) Pick your pattern (Here is a page I set up with patterns to download, I will add more as I find them). I used downloaded coloring sheets
2) Cut out the pattern & trace onto Heat N Bond
3) Cut out and iron onto Peltex. Do not remove paper backing. Use it as a cut guide. Cut pattern from Peltex
4) Peel paper backing and iron onto wrong side of fabric.
5) Cut fabric around Peltex

Amazing!!! really wonderful creativity..., we have two kids and we are very eager to apply this in their room. I have downloaded all the things from the URL, you mentioned in the blog. I have some more ideas to share , not much I will mail you later... see you...
