It is amazing what Mod Podge & fabric scraps can do to $1.00 Magazine holders. The fabric is Uptown by Moda. Apologies for the lack of info, but I had Typepad/computer issues yesterday (I have not idea which is to blame so they share it). I bought these magazine holder from Target some time back with the idea of putting some green gingham paper on the fronts, but when I actually got around to decorating them, I wanted something more. My sewing room is so Blah right now with its beige walls, so I did some digging through my scraps and came up with just enough of this Grandma's Couch print to cover all three fronts. I used Mod Podge on the front, carefully added the fabric on top and then Mod Podged the hell out of it. I let it dry over night and then cut our my tags from some recycled computer paper and secured them on and Mod Podged the whole front again. I let it dry for 2 days, added magazines and Voila! They really brighten up my room and keep my mags right where I need them, with out being an eye sore! Thanks Mod Podge!

Good idea! I'm going to have to remember this, I have lots of magazine holders to work with!

Perfect idea. I'll have to try this. Great fabric choices too.
