And there was and it was good. Now i just can't wait for him (the builder) to command the planting of the grass so i can get some green in my pictures!
Oh, We are listing this sunday evening around 6ish. I am so excited because then we are taking a week off, still cleaning of course, and then we get on again with continuing to fix up the house. Just a little here and there. But since the new house will be done in Sept we need to get the old one on the market so it has time to sell at a good price before we have to lower it to get someone to buy it ebfore Sept. If it sells before Sept, then (Deep breath into brown paper bag) we are going move in with my parents. We could rent a house but this is free and renting is not. Plus, Mom has promised to have dinner ready for us every night. How sweet is that. Plus they live on 40+ acres and my dogs LOVE that. I couldn't tell them no. another plus: with my brother's upcoming nuputials Mom and i are planning a mutial party for gretchen (my new sister!) and it will be alot easier because i currently live 40 min away.
If you can't tell- the house is green too. with a cream trim and the windows will be a rust color. Oh i am so in love. Ok enough bragging- i am so sorry about that but i am bursting.
So this weekend i hope to make some pillows to make my couch look fun and funky so some one will by my house. Oh house tips:
1) an angled brush is your friend and blue tape is thine enemy. you can cut in with the angle and it is SO MUCh easier than i ever thought possible.
2)I bought boxes and boxes of bread mix for my machine that way if i know we are showing that day, in the morning i throw the stuff in my bread machine and that whole house will smell like fresh bread. If you don't have a machine- bake a pie or cookies. most ovens have delay timers and that works well too.
Edit: I wrote this last Friday and forgot to post it. We have since listed!!!!!!

The house is looking fantastic! Hows the selling going?
