Here is my version of a free pattern from Amy Butler that i found by chance online. I fell in love with it. I attempted to make a pin to decorate the tab but i don't like it. I will have to try again or buy one, i am not sure which yet. The close up is of the 'pin'. it is just a Yo Yo and a vintage button. I do love the fabric. It is Sancutary by Moda. it is so soft. I want to make my next one out of some Amy Butler Nigella, something blueish
Here is a finished version of my knitted cupcake for my mom. I just added some button sprinkles. I want to rework this pattern before i pucblish it. I want to make the guage tighter around the cup part. I think it is too bulgy with all the stuffing and i want it to be a bit stiffer. maybe make the cupcake bigger to make the buttons seem smaller and more sprinkle like.

I have that pattern too! It's from a magazine a bit ago... Haven't made it yet :( I love yours though - so springy! And I love the dog feet in the pic with the cupcake - you're never alone!
