Slowly, she is chugging along. Inches creep past as i watch my life pass me by. Well maybe that is a little dramatic because i mainly knit in the car on the way to work (NOT so fast, Garrett is driving. I may live in the south but i refuse to drive like a southern, plus i wasn't born here. HUMPH) and maybe a row or 2 before bed (that is a good 30-35 min right there). I am through most of the increases and will soon get rid of those sleeves, then fast rows!
I am getting ready to start the new job. I plan on making a dress to wear the first day/week, depending on when i finish it. And I ordered new fabric from my new place of employment to make the dress. I told Garrett that this job will be as bad as if i worked at a pet store (which i condone. never buy a pet, adopt, but for comparison sake i used the pet store), i will be bring home strays left and right and probably just signing over my paycheck as soon as i get it. But if that is the price of happiness, i will gladly sign over anything short of my dogs and husband and cat, but my brother is sign-over-able (kidding, i don't think i would get much for him :). But i also decided i needed new business pants too. I am not about to make pants yet but now i can shop in good conscious. my place of business now is VERY CASUAL. i work with software engineers and a tuxedo t-shirt is very formal for them. we are talking clean t-shirt for when the customers visit. I dress nicer, because i am not an engineer and prefer to appear attractive, but i get away with jeans and cool sweaters/blazers/tunics. I don't think jeans will cut at the new place, plus i want new pants.
