Yesterday, I received an e-mail concerning a job that has the potential to be my dream job. When I first read the e-mail, I did a slightly nerdy, but thankfully indescribable happy dance. My fingers are crossed and my confidence is high.
However, to prevent an all eggs in the basket phenomenon, the books I ordered the other day to help me prepare for the GRE came in yesterday. I am planning a joint study/Amy Butler weekender weekend. I also have a family dinner and lunch with the girls planned. I also hope to fit in a lazy afternoon with the dogs watching the history channel.
Oh, changes in the pattern came last night. I saw some ideas and some flaws. I frogged back to the cast on (I love when you can do that. Cast-on is my least fave). and started over with my tweaks. It is really taking shape now. Maybe some teaser pictures tomorrow!? I want to wear it next weekend, so hopefully.
Oh speaking of pictures, My Brother Shaun (must remember to update my link list with his page again) is going to take a picture of the finished Purse for Gretchen. It was finished at the 11th hour before Christmas. here are the before final sewing here and you will be able to see the wooden bead handle I made. It is awesome.
Oh and I caved and bought some new fabric today. I couldn't help it. It is not everyday, FreshCut is on Sale. So sue me... and I will show up nicely dressed.
